Good run, especially considering that -- ahem -- I didn't exactly eat all that well yesterday, (Chocolate chess pie has antioxidants, right?) I slept about 5 hours last night, and oh, I'm getting my period. I kept it up, although at times it was a little challenging. Did a pick-up at Cortland and another one for about 1:15 at the end. Woot woot. ;-)

Oh, and a banana works as a great pre-run snack too! Cheaper than a granola bar, and without all the processed sugar.

Pre-run snack: banana.
Breakfast: Homemade smoothie w/ 1 cup OJ, small peach, 1 scoop protein powder, and 1/2 cup frozen blueberries.

Sunday:
Breakfast: 1 sliced banana, 1 Luna Bar (S'mores), 1 small skim cafe au lait.
Lunch: Totino's pizza (combination).
Snack: 1 slice chocolate chess pie.
Dinner: 1 cup pasta with homemade spicy marinara; 4-oz baked chicken.
