Today was an awesome run. I've no clue what was so different about this morning, although I suspect that getting out a full fifteen minutes earlier than usual (6:35 rather than 6:50) helped tremendously. It was quite cool, plus the humidity's the lowest it's been in a couple of weeks, so those two combined really made for some good running. I was concerned that yesterday's pace might make today a wee bit more difficult, but whaddya know, I was able to maintain it again, and well.
Or who knows? Maybe pizza makes for a good dinner the night before a run. Apparently half a Pop-Tart makes for a decent pre-run snack, too.
Pre-run snack: half a brown sugar and cinnamon Pop-Tart.
Breakfast: 2 small slices Big Kahuna pizza (Canadian bacon, pineapple, mandarin orange slices), 1 half-glass organic chocolate milk.
Thursday:
Afternoon snack: small handful M&M's (8-9 pieces).
Dinner: 3 small slices Big Kahuna pizza.
