Eliot Spitzer

Remember when Spitzer was profiled sometime in 2007 or 2006 in Runner's World? I don't recall the exact issue -- and none of the ones I've saved have it -- but I do recall liking the guy based just on that brief interview alone.

Not being a New Yorker (heck, having never been to New York period), I can't really comment on the soon-to-be-ex governor's behavior during his term, but as a fellow runner, I can't help but feel pity for the man, rather than anger and shame. Hope he and his family work all of this out. I'm just glad he's a runner -- that'll get you through just about anything.
