Really. Really. Good. Day.

It rained a bit this morning before the run, but by the time I hit the road, I just got some random drizzling. I was concerned about getting too wet, but I stuck a baseball cap on my head to keep the rain from my eyes, and everything was great. In fact, I loved running on such a cloudy, rainy morning as this one is, as everything just looked so green and lush. You don't see that happening much out here in the desert. Definitely inspired my run. Today was a good, good day.

Lunch (Wednesday): peanut butter & strawberry preserves on whole wheat bread, white tea, sliced kiwi.
Snack (Wednesday): Luna Bar (chocolate peppermint stick)
Dinner (Wed): spaghetti w/ marinara and homemade chicken Parmesan nuggets, slice of bread w/ extra virgin olive oil dip.

Breakfast (Thurs): Smoothie with chocolate milk, frozen blueberries, frozen peaches, 2 T ground flax seeds, 1 scoop Green-Whey protein powder, 1/2 cup orange juice. (I had half of all this and will probably drink the rest of a snack later this afternoon.)
