Taking a break yesterday helped tremendously, I think. I had some sore knees on Monday after our run, and of course, I didn't ice at all, so not running yesterday gave me the rest I need to power through the week.
Good morning run, probably 6 or 7 on a scale of 1-10 in terms of exertion, about the same for overall enjoyment. I only got about 6 hours of sleep last night, which didn't help. I'm aiming for at least 7.5, if not 8, although ideally I know I function better with 9 hours of sleep. Yet that goal remains elusive...
Breakfast: 1/2 cup granola, 1/2 cup Almond Flakes, 3 T toasted wheat germ, about 3/4 cup plain kefir, small banana, small glass of OJ.
