I've been running the last couple of months, I just haven't logged any of it! I've recently become much more serious about it all, though. During January and February I had a rather serious flare from my ulcerative colitis, but now I'm slowly but surely recovering with help from a naturopathic doctor and my regular gastroenterologist. Anway, that sort of slowed down my running considerably, but now I'm back up to 4-5x/week. My last 5k time was clocked on February 23rd and was an all-time low of 40:20. Ugh. Still, that was pretty good considering that a) it was about 30 F and raining, b) the course was badly marked, very narrow (in many cases it was just the bike lane), and sometimes had no one to man intersections for oncoming traffic, c) it was the first time I'd run in about a month, and d) there were no water stops at all.

I'm aiming for another 5k in about 3-4 weeks, hoping to break 35:00.
